Daniel Roth
Daniel Roth is a French organist and composer. He was born in Mulhouse, Vichy France, in 1942, and studied with amongst others Rolande Falcinelli and Maurice Duruflé.
In 1963, Roth became Falcinelli’s deputy at the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur in Paris. In 1973, he succeeded her as titular organist. He was titular organist at the Saint-Sulpice in Paris from 1985 until his retirement in 2023.
He has composed numerous works for organ, as well as chamber music, works for orchestra and vocal music.
