Christine Kamp
Christine Kamp (Strasbourg, France 1966) studied organ at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam with Jacques van Oortmerssen and Ewald Kooiman. She completed her organ studies with Jan Raas at the Utrecht Conservatory, where, in addition to church music, she also specialized in chamber music and song accompaniment with Thom Bollen. Kamp attended master classes for the romantic repertoire with György Sebok and Marie-Louise Jaquet-Langlais. She performs as an organist in concerts at home and abroad and has made numerous recordings.
As a soloist she has performed at the Festival for Early Music in Utrecht, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the St. Bavo Church in Haarlem and the Ste. Clotilde in Paris. In 2002 she was awarded the Silver Medal of the Paris Société Académique ‘Arts – Sciences – Lettres’. Christine Kamp has been organist at the Grote Kerk in Weesp since 1996.
